As an industry, we have an opportunity to improve our efficiency, reputation, legacy and environmental impact through sustainable practices. In today’s world, sustainability is no longer an option but a necessity. Exhibitions, with their large-scale setups and significant environmental footprints, have a responsibility to prioritize sustainability.
There were many sustainability initiatives showcased at Expo! Expo! 2025, and a comprehensive case study was conducted to highlight how these efforts brought sustainability into the event. NEW! Expo! Expo!’s Most Sustainable Exhibitor Award
Is your booth ready to lead the way in sustainability? This year, we’re recognizing the exhibitor with the Most Sustainable Exhibitor on the show floor. Entries will be evaluated using the Better Stands guidelines, a recognized framework for reducing the environmental impact of exhibit design, construction, and operation. Consider reusable or recycled materials, modular and reusable structures, energy-efficient lighting and audio visual equipment, minimal single-use items and printed collateral, and responsible plans for transport and end-of-show waste.
Get a head start: You can pre-submit information about your booth plans ahead of the show using our pre-submission link. It’s a simple way to get your entry started, and it gives you a chance to review your plans while there’s still time to make changes.
The winning exhibitor will receive a Full Access Badge for a company representative for Expo! Expo! 2027, recognition on the Expo! Expo! Sustainability Page, Social media post highlighting that your company was the recipient of the Most Sustainable Exhibitor Award at Expo! Expo! 2026, and a feature in a press release announcing 2026 Expo! Expo! Exhibitor/Booth Awards! A great way to showcase your commitment to sustainability and be recognized by your peers and customers.
Sustainability Sanctuary at Expo! Expo!
While on the show floor at Expo! Expo! visit the Sustainability Sanctuary! In this area, IAEE will showcase partners and exhibitors dedicated to making a positive impact through reimagined show design. Learning sessions will take place over 2 days highlighting various ways you can make a difference in your next show.
