Proceso de selección y revisión de la presentación del Comité de Educación

The IAEE Education Committee consists of members that are recognized as industry leaders with many years of industry experience. The committee’s role is to review, plan and evaluate IAEE’s education programming for Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting and Exhibition.

El proceso de selección implica una revisión de cada completo presentation submitted prior to the deadline. Completed submissions include profile information for each speaker (i.e., bio, photo, references), session descriptions, actionable learning objectives, details on audience interactive activities, and a session overview video.

All presentations are selected based on the information submitted. Those who submit are expected to follow all instructions carefully and provide all requested information. No se considerarán envíos incompletos.. Durante este proceso también se analiza la gramática, puntuación, etc. adecuadas.

If so, you are invited to submit an education session via the call for proposals for the 2026 Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting and Exhibition 16-18 November in Milwaukee, WI.

Expo! Expo! is a diverse, interactive experience that fosters an environment of thought leadership, best practices, and innovation. Expo! Expo! is the industry’s foremost face-to-face network for exhibition and event industry professionals and the gateway to the decision-makers for the $94 Billion exhibitions (2024) and events industry, with 9 out of 10 attendees having a role in purchasing decisions. Attendees include owners, executives, directors, and managers from organizations that organize a wide variety of events, including many of the largest exhibitions in North America and from over fifty countries worldwide. Criterios para enviar

  • ORGANIZADORES – Member and non-member organizers may submit for consideration to present.
  • PROVEEDORES MIEMBROS – Proveedores miembros de la IAEE who are paid exhibitors at Expo! Expo! podrá presentar a consideración para presentar y deben incluir a un organizador como copresentador en una presentación en formato de estudio de caso. The organizer may be either an IAEE member or a non-member organizer and should be the main presenter of content during the presentation.
  • PROVEEDORES NO MIEMBROS – Proveedores no socios who are paid exhibitors at Expo! Expo! podrá presentar a consideración para presentar y deben incluir a un organizador como copresentador en una presentación en formato de estudio de caso. The organizer may be either an IAEE member or a non-member organizer. Non-Member Suppliers quienes NO están exponiendo no pueden hablar en el evento.
  • Política de ponentes externos – Los ponentes profesionales no pertenecientes a la industria podrán presentarse para su consideración. Estos son oradores profesionales externos cuya actividad principal es hablar y que están no miembros de la IAEE. La IAEE tiene total discreción sobre quién califica para esta categoría de orador.

Criterios de selección de presentación

Los envíos de presentaciones se evalúan según los siguientes criterios:

  1. Presentación completa de la presentación, enviada antes de la fecha límite.
  2. El nivel de aprendizaje de la sesión es apropiado para la audiencia y el tema.
  3. Identification of three actionable learner outcomes that showcase what knowledge participants will walk out of the session with. Each listed after this verbiage Learning Objectives:

  5. Each session is required to have attendee engagement activities or interactions. Therefore, each presentation proposal must include details on what each activity or engagement will include.

Formatos de entrega de sesiones

These sessions will be delivered onsite, in-person, at the Baird Center.

  • Education Session Workshops
    • 60 or 45-minute informative sessions involving 1-2 presenters max, which include valuable key content and takeaways relevant to your content area where attendee learning can be applied immediately upon completion of the session, in an attendee’s role, position, or scope of work.
    • Each session is required to include a dedicated audience engagement activity during a portion of the session facilitating group discussions and activities. Presenters must be able to discuss specific activities with IAEE staff during the pre-event speaker call if selected.
  • Paneles de discusión
  • Discussion or interview format of 60 or 45-minutes involving 3 panelists and 1 moderator who leads the discussion. Typically, it does not include the use of ppt slides but can be considered. Sessions must include dedicated time for Audience Q&A.
  • Sesiones de estudio de casos
  • This would be 60 or 45-minute presentations that showcase a real-life event or scenario with challenges, solutions, and tips. Sessions must include dedicated time for Audience Q&A. A maximum of 3 presenters is allowed. Presenters must be able to discuss real-life case study elements with IAEE staff during the pre-event speaker call.

Learning Level Definitions

Ejecutivo (Nivel C – Ejecutivo Senior – VP)

  • El alumno asume una comprensión avanzada de la industria.
  • El alumno ocupa un puesto a nivel ejecutivo y busca aprendizaje estratégico y creación de redes con sus pares.
  • Una sesión de este nivel puede cubrir ideas, investigaciones, tecnologías y temas estratégicos y complejos y es más adecuada para profesionales experimentados en la industria.

Gerente (Gerente – Director)

  • El alumno asume un conocimiento sólido de los conceptos de la industria.
  • El alumno tiene un alto nivel de competencia en la gestión de espectáculos y en la dirección de proyectos y personas.
  • Una sesión de este nivel podría describir sistemas y procedimientos de temas moderadamente complejos.

Personal (Administrativo – Coordinador – Estudiante)

  • El alumno asume conocimientos básicos de conceptos de la industria.
  • El alumno tiene conocimientos y habilidades básicos, pero puede o no gestionar espectáculos o personas.
  • Una sesión de este nivel presenta una descripción general de conceptos y características y es más adecuada para profesionales nuevos.
